Working Experiences and Skills
Ms. Song received her Master of Science in Medicinal Chemistry from East China University of Science and Technology, with solid education background of pharmacy and chemistry. She joined WuXi Apptec Inc. and engaged in new drug research work, familiar with drug development process and drug designation. She joined our firm in 2009 and started her IP career, and qualified as a patent attorney in 2012. She studied European intellectual property system in European Intellectual Property Research Center of Strasbourg, France, proficient in patent systems in Europe and China. She is authorized to be court agent before IP court by the Supreme Court.
Ms. Song is skillful in drafting patent application documents in such fields as biotechnology, chemistry, medicine, polymer, textile sleeve and pistons, and experienced in preparing responses to office actions in the examination proceedings, in handling cases of patent reexamination and invalidation, and in providing infringement analyst and consultation. In addition, she pursued self-study course of mechanical engineering while working, experienced in handling cases of automotive filed and so on.
