Ms. Deng started her IP career in China in 1993 and became a qualified patent attorney in 1996. She joined Zhi Xin in 1999 and became a partner in 2001. She is active in areas of technical protection rights, and has extensive experience in prosecuting patent applications and in enforcing protective rights in invalidation and litigation cases. Her special technical interests are, among others, mechanical engineering, automobile engineering, thermal energy technology and petroleum engineering. She is authorized to be court agent before IP court by the Supreme Court.
Ms. Deng obtained her bachelor degree in petroleum engineering from Xian Petroleum University in 1990. Before joining the firm, Ms. Deng worked as a researcher personnel in a petroleum technology institute for three years and then as a in-house patent engineer in Xinjiang branch of Petro China. She received training from Law School of Renmin University of China and Gleiss & Grosse Patent and Trademark Law Firm in Germany.
